Puri Shankaracharya Nishchalanand Saraswati want a ban of Shahid Kapoor’s Kaminey for showing Lord Jagannath in bad light.

A scene in Kaminey shows, a poster of scantily clad woman in a public toilet reading ‘Apna Hath Jagannath.’

Talking about the scene Puri says, “The scene painted Lord Jagannath in poor light. People across the country should come forward to lodge their protests against such attempts to denigrate a Hindu god.”

Puri will be writing to the producer of the movie to remove the objectionable scene from the flick.
