The BBC reports that multiplatinum-selling Grammy winner Alicia Keys has apologized to fans in Indonesia after finding out that an upcoming concert was sponsored by tobacco company Philip Morris. Anti-smoking organization Tobacco Free Kids criticized Alicia Keys when billboards promoting her concert were having a logo for the A Mild cigarette brand.

The R&B singer apologized to fans in Indonesia and said that the tobacco company had subsequently withdrawn their sponsorship.

I apologize for any misleading advertising initially associated with the show. I’m an unyielding advocate for the well-being and health of children around the world and do not condone or endorse smoking. I look forward to bringing my music and message to my wonderful fans in Jakarta.
